How do females go from bushy/overly hairy eyebrows to neat, shapely eyebrows? Do they do it themselves at home with tweezers or go to a professional to have the eyebrows done? Where would I go to get my eyebrows done? What procedures are used to reduce and shape eyebrow hairs? Are there any risks of losing too much eyebrow hair? Do most women that have their eyebrows done also have to use an eyebrow pencil? Do eyebrows that are too thin and penciled over look bad? Is it better to have more hair than less hair for eyebrows or the other way around?Question about trimming/shaping eyebrows?
Definitely go get your eyebrows done. It's not that expensive, instead of buying fast food for a few nights - spend the money on this..
You could go to any salon, i'm sure they wax eyebrows. They're completeley used to doing it, so as long as its a good salon, trust them. They've done plenty.
Another option (what i get done) is called threading. You may not have heard of it before. Usually people do this at home as a small home business type thing. A lot of indian people get this done, I think a lot of celebrities do too. it keeps the hair away for longer and it's easier to give eyebrows a better shape by threading than waxing. However, if you can't find someone who does threading, just go get your eyebrows waxed - they'll look great too.
No, most women who get their eyebrows done do not have to use an eyepencil. Just go back every few weeks and have them redone again. I get mine done about once a month.
Yes, in my opinion, overdone eyebrows look bad. When you go in, tell them you do not want them pencil-thin. Maybe even find a picture of someone with eyebrows that you like and take it in to show the salon people. :)
It's amazing what a huge difference nice eyebrows can make to someone's face. It makes you look refined, fresh, and well-groomed. Definitely take the small amount of time and money that it requires and go get them done. :)Question about trimming/shaping eyebrows?
my self i do it at home and am looking gorgeous.many people asks me where i do it.
wow thats a loaded question.
i think your best best is to have your brows waxed (hair salon)initially after you have a consultation about all of your concerns and preferences and then you can maintain them at home with
tweezers unless you don't mind spending the money to get
them waxed regularly and even then you have to let them have
a little length in order for the wax to grab hold of.
Firstly, don't just dive and start plucking because these hairs are fragile and often do NOT ever grow back. Start by plucking the hairs outside of the eyebrow area. Most people have eyebrow shape that suits their eyes and face and just needs to be cleaned up around the edges. If you think you need more definition, then I would suggest that you consult with a professional and see what they have to say. Make sure you trust this professional before you let them start waxing and plucking away.
I am a hairstylist but also do eyebrows..
my best answer for you is you can either go to a saturdays near you and pay 10.68 to get your eyebrows dun, or do it at home.
all you need is an eyebrow brush, tweezers, shears and a venus razor cause it won't cut you!
ok with the eyebrow brush just brush your eyebrows upword.
after that snip off the part that is sticking up out of place.
then brush them down and clip the hairs that are sticking out underneath..
after thats dun yose your razor to shave underneath.
start the arch from your nose on out on each side.
now what ever you can't reach with your razor tweez out with tweezers!
you'll have to at least do this whole once a month and shave underneath every other day..
Good luck!
Go to a pro. Always the best and tweeze in between getting them waxed.
it is ALWAYS best to get a proffesional to do it - there are rules about proportions that have to be followed, and if so, they make your eyebrows and your face more beautiful.
Professionals use tweezers and a special kind of scissors, or they sometime wax the hair. There are no risks to losing eyebrow hair, maybe just looking very bad. If you pluck your eyebrows you do not NEED to use a pencil, this is a personal choice, that i do not recommend.
What you can do is get it professionally done and then just follow the shape that was imposed by yourself at home. you will need to pluck your eyebrows every 3-4 days to keep them neat. all hairs do not grow at the same rate, and some do not grow back at all.
whatever you do, just dont do it by yourself.
Well it all depends on what u want them to look like.Even if u go to a professional ur euebrows could end up looking crooked. Like one could actually be higher than the other because everybodys face is different! Rememeber that! Well my advice is to do your eyebrows but first look at the shape of your face. Nobody has perfect proportions and if u do ur blessed! Also not everyone is blessed with a nice arch. You can create your arch depending how much eyebrow hair you actually have.At first they wont look all that great because it will be your 1st time butwith experience they'll look great I always get compliments on my eyebrows cuz i do them myself but then again i was blessed with a really good arch! lol But anyways hope that helps! :) oh and one more thing! Do not pluck your eyebrows too much. Only pluck the stray hairs belo your eyebrows and for more even looking eyebrows use a eyebrow razor to go above the eyebrow.
You could first go to a professional, if you have no idea what you're doing. But in my case, one of my aunts (who ISN'T a professional) shaped mine. After I've gotten the shape, I just kept at it and continued to tweeze it myself. So, if you know some one that knows how to do make up, they would most likely know how to do eyebrows as well. If you don't want to spend a lot of money getting them done some where, you could always ask some one you know..
The only risk in losing too much eyebrow hair, is it may not always come back. And eyebrows that are too thin and need enhancement with a pencil, don't always look bad. Some people NEED it 'cause their eyebrows might just be way too thin and the pencil/shadow helps it have a better shape.
I don't think there's anything that reduces eyebrow hairs, just by tweezing or waxing. Waxing sounds scary, but it actually feels god.. well to me anyway.
Well i ocasionalli hav mine waxed by the beautituions.
but if mine go a bit to bushy i will pluck them mii self..x
nd i dun like eye brow pencil at all!!! it makes yooh look soo fake!
no affence to any1 who does wear it lol =]
nd i tink middle size eyebrows are the best to small ones will jus look like a trail of pepper on yur for hed lmao..
buh then too big ones will jus look meessy n like slugs
nd yuu defoo dun wanna mono brow!! lol
soo keep in between :) or the size u feel comfturble wid :)
The first time I got my eyebrows done was at a salon in New York with my sister who took me. I got mine threaded. That's when they pull it out using string or something. My sister was with me so she told the woman when she thought they were done, and she finished up. Since it was the first time it was red above my eyes for about an hour but when it went away they looked good. She said to get them done about every two weeks. You get used to it, I do them myself now and I wouldn't call them thin but they look right with my face.
It's better to get them done the first time professionally instead of doing it yourself I think. Then if you wanted you could do them yourself I suppose.
women mostly go with the natural shape of their eyebrow. the easiest way to shape them is to pluck the thinner hairs around the thicker bunches of hairs. only pluck the hairs that look like they aren't supposed to be there. some people draw over their eyebrows with the pencil to make them darker or to fill in blank spots. when you pluck, make sure you don't pull out the hairs that are part of the basic outline of your eyebrow.
