I am trying to maintain my eyebrow shape at home by tweezing?

What tips do you have for sucessful tweezing?I am trying to maintain my eyebrow shape at home by tweezing?
here are a few tips that should help. before you pluck, take an eyelash comb, and comb your brows upward, trim the overly long hairs that stick up way higher when brushed upwards, with tiny brow or manicure scissors. NEVER pluck too much from the beginning of the brow (i hate when theres a huge gap between peoples brows!!!) just pluck the unibrow or any stray hairs, but never the obvious start of the brow. NEVER pluck hair from above the brow, ONLY below. this will give the eyerbrow the high and arched look that is so much better on females. if you pluck from above, you'll get that straight line look (uck!) and then last, to keep up with the brows, pluck every 2 days or so, so you can know which hairs to remove, if you only get the ones that you can tell are beginning to grow back, and leave the rest alone then you'll never have to get them waxed again. good luck.I am trying to maintain my eyebrow shape at home by tweezing?
Tweezing takes patience and time. The word “maintain” means continuous so maintaining your brows must be done on a daily or weekly basis. Prior to tweezing, determine the shape of your brow by following the natural line of your brow bone. The arch should be at its highest point lining up with the outer pupil and the ends of the brow should line up with the inside and outside corners of the eye. Now you are ready to tweeze.

First, brush your hair in the direction of the hair growth and isolate the hair you are about to tweeze. Gently and smoothly pull one hair at a time and tweeze in the direction of hair growth. It’s better to pull too little than too much. Step back from your mirror and check your brows occasionally. I’m confident you’ll be “tweezed” with the results.
Don't over pluck! This can eventually kill the hair folicles and you will be stuck with too thin eyebrows eventually.

Also, there are stencils for perfect eyebrows. Buy a set from Walgreens, use it to ';draw in'; your favorite shape then pluck what ever doesn't fit the shape.

Have fun and good luck.
use an eyebrow pencil to draw in the shape first. step back and look after you pluck each hair. overplucking blows lol!!

1. Tweeze after showering, or apply a warm washcloth to the area for a few minutes before tweezing

2. Apply a little bit of moisturizer

3. Pull the skin taut, and pluck in the direction of hair growth

4. Follow your natural arch, and don't overpluck
get your brows professionaly styled by a beautician at least once, so you know where to pluck and can maintain a good shape.

-but yes, don't overpluck!

-always have a clean face and moisturise afterwards.

-if it hurts, apply a hot towel to your eyebrows before you start plucking to open pores so it will hurt less when you play them out.

-and make sure you have good quality tweezers.

-natural light works best so try and do them in the daytime.

and avoid wearing makeup over it for a couple of hours or you may notice pimples.
tweezing is good. make sure you dont over do it like i did! i just growed them back and get it waxed. but if your good at it then do it every few days or so when u see one growing back, dont do it everyday.
