Waxing or shaping eyebrows? the difference?!?

i've previously tweezed my eyebrows and once accidently shaved of some of my right, so it's been darker and 'hairyer' since.


the other day i was considering shaving some of my left off, but then i was unsure of the time it'd take to grow back.





ANYWAYS, both shaping and waxing eyebrows at this salon place cost the same, so i was wondering which is better? should i try DIY waxing?

i would get them shaped because waxing is just taking the hairs around your eye brows off and shaping is actually working with your eye brows.. if one looks darker color it with a brow pencil and get them shaped to look like they have the same amount of hair. the people at the salon should know what your talking about. hope this helps :)Waxing or shaping eyebrows? the difference?!?
i would first ask the salon, if they list both services, ask what each includes. to me, shaping is just tweezing. helping define your brows on your face. waxing is a type of shaping.





i have done both at local salon/spa and they both do the same thing to me for the same price. I was on accutane for about 7 months and had to stop waxing and they just started doing the shaping. It was the same thing and took same amount of time.





If you are having issues with the shape of your brows, I would definately recommend getting either done. But perhaps shaping first.
